It really boils down to what you can afford and what's available in your area. As you stated, the Case is a little nicer to work on & generally cheaper parts wise, but the Deere might be a little better in performance. They are fairly light for there size, Which can be good on slope work and soft ground, but in heavy cuts and hard ground can be a bit of a pain.
